Yesterday, Paul Westcott resigned as the Xenith Chairman after 10 years in the role. Paul was the inaugural Chairman of Xenith and has guided the company to where it is today being a leading provider to the Mining, Energy and Resources industries.
Paul has chaired the company through a phase of stability and now growth. His knowledge of the resources industry particularly coal mining, is immense starting out as a young Mining Engineer at the Blackwater coal mine in Central Qld in the early 70’s. His passion for Technical Excellence and a strong focus on Our People will be missed. Paul has made himself available to assist with any strategic projects as needed.

Khory McCormick has been on the Xenith board for over 12 months and has accepted the offer to become Xenith’s second Chairman. Many will know Khory with his background spanning more than three decades in top end conflict and commercial advisory legal practice and public and private non-executive board positions. He now conducts a strategic advisory practice across a range of industry sectors.
Khory is an accredited arbitrator and mediator, Life Fellow of ACICA and Fellow CIArb and past chair of Energex Group and Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility and director Allgas, SIDRA and member of AON’s Australian Advisory Board amongst other roles. He has deep energy, resource and infrastructure experience which will be a huge benefit to Xenith as we assist our clients in their carbon transition plans and focus on ESG related subjects.
Khory will bring a commercially focussed edge to the Xenith business and assist the management team build out our client base and service offering for the future.
The Xenith Board will continue a search for the vacant Board role in early 2023.
